Elon students have multiple opportunities to meet with employers on campus and learn more about career paths on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
The Student Professional Development Center is hosting a series of “Connect to Your Future” events on Tuesday, Feb. 22 where students will have the opportunity to connect with employers, learn more about their respective fields and discuss future opportunities with recruiters.
Starting off the day, Communications, Business, and STEM students can join the SPDC for their employer Meet and Greets from noon to 1:30 p.m. Communications students will meet in the Schar Center, business students in the Koury Business Center and STEM students in the McMichael Science Center.
Later in the day, students belonging to historically underrepresented groups are invited to enjoy refreshments, discuss opportunities and share resumes with employers. This event will take place in the McBride Gathering Place – Numen Lumen from 5 to 6 p.m.
Lastly, students of all years and majors are invited to join the SPDC at Network@Night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in McKinnon Hall – Moseley Center. This event offers students a casual outlet to network with employers over high-top tables in a dynamic and inviting atmosphere.
Leading up to “Connect to Your Future” events the Student Professional Development Center is hosting numerous events aimed at students to improve their LinkedIn profiles, resumes, and networking skills.
Students will also have the opportunity to receive prizes, enjoy snacks, and get t-shirts at the SPDC Open House on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Moseley Center 140.
