Student support group Survivor Circle to begin sessions on April 5

A new offering from Counseling Services and the Gender & LGBTQIA Center, Survivor Circle will be a support group for student survivors of sexual violence, interpersonal violence and stalking.

Elon’s Gender & LGBTQIA Center and Counseling Services are excited to announce the beginning of a new support group – Survivor Circle.

This will be a space for survivors of sexual violence, interpersonal violence and stalking to connect and address topics such as boundaries, safety, coping skills and navigating relationships and structural systems.

It is open to all undergraduate and graduate students, and students are welcome to come to as many or as few meetings as they’d like. Meetings are from 3 to 4 p.m. in Numen Lumen 203, and begin on April 5.

Please reach out to Coordinator for Violence Response AK Krauss (akrauss3@elon.edu) or Melissa Yarborough with Counseling Services (myarbarough2@elon.edu) with any questions or concerns.
