Membership is open to all Elon students, faculty, & staff
The Elon University Camerata is seeking four sopranos, four altos, six tenors, and six basses. The auditioned chamber ensemble is offered as a class and is open to all Elon students regardless of major. Over the years, faculty and staff have sung in the ensemble and are welcome to join us again this fall 2022. Send a video recording of a lyrical piece that shows off range and expression.
Elon’s official a cappella/vocal jazz ensemble, élan, is seeking one soprano, two altos, three tenors, and three basses. The auditioned ensemble is open to all Elon students regardless of major. This fall, we will perform the Manhattan Transfer “Brasil” album with two-time Emmy winning composer/pianist Mike Esnault. In the spring, élan will perform an all a cappella concert featuring the music of Sting. Send a video recording of a pop song, jazz piece, or musical theatre piece (preferably a ballad) which shows off range and expression.
