Human Service Studies celebrates internship supervisors

The Human Service Studies Department honored community partners who supervise senior students during their semester-long internship.

On Friday April 22, the Human Service Studies Department honored the agencies and field supervisors that support student learning during their internship with a luncheon in Johnston Hall.

HSS faculty, students and community partners came together to celebrate their dedication to HSS majors, who are all required to complete a semester-long, 290 hour internship. This annual celebration had been postponed for the past three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 10 agencies were represented at the in-person event. Carolyn Carter with Residential Treatment Services of Alamance County and Skye Sullivan with the Family Justice Center were honored for their long term partnership with the HSS department.
