Michael “Mike” McKinney, a substitute shuttle bus operator with Automotive Services for the past nine and a half years, passed away on Monday, July 4.
McKinney began his part-time career with Elon after retiring as the owner and operator of West End Glass.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 8, at Alamance Memorial Park, 4039 S. Church Street, Burlington.
The family is being served by Lowe Funeral Home, 2205 S. Church Street, Burlington and will be receiving friends at this location from 11:30-1:30 pm on Friday prior to the service at Alamance Memorial Park.
