Meghan Trainor reacted to Twisted Measure's performance of her 2019 single, "Wave," in Glamour's "You Sang My Song" series.
Twisted Measure, Elon’s oldest co-ed a cappella group, was featured in a recent episode of Glamour’s video series, “You Sang My Song.” Twisted Measure performed a cover of Meghan Trainor’s 2019 hit song, “Wave,” which the artist reacted to in the episode.
Molly Herson ’23, current president of Twisted Measure, and Gabriel Halpern ’22 were the lead singers for the cover and received a special shout-out from Trainor.
“Molly and Gabriel, you gave me passion, and I loved it. Thank you so much for singing my song. That was sick,” Trainor said.
Members of Twisted Measure were included in the video and reacted to the praise the group received.
“Every so often, one of the artists of one of our arrangements will tweet something small about it or post a little thing on their Instagram story. But, we’ve never actually gotten to see their real reaction actually listening to our songs. That’s really cool to see,” Halpern said.
“We are going to be talking about this forever. So, thank you so much,” Herson said.
Twisted Measure is featured at the three minute and 56 second mark. The a cappella group’s performance of “Wave” can be found on the Twisted Measure YouTube channel.
