While at the meeting, officers interacted with other chapter representatives and attended sessions on professional development as well as sessions on the operations of a Beta Alpha Psi chapter.

Professor Patty Cox, the chapter’s faculty advisor and an assistant professor in the Department of Accounting, also attended the meeting.

Elon’s Lambda Xi chapter is comprised of approximately 80 members. The organization meets weekly with speakers from the fields of accounting and finance.

Beta Alpha Psi is an honor organization for financial information students and professionals with 300-plus campus chapters and more than 300,000 members initiated since its formation in 1919.
