A series of movies based on books will be shown at Turner Theatre throughout the summer for the university community.
See a book come to life at Elon’s Summer Movie Series, which this year has the theme “From Page to Screen.”
Four movies based on books will be shown in Turner Theatre in Schar Hall. The screenings are open to the community and are free to enter. No reservation is required. Free popcorn and movie snacks will be provided, although guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Doors will open 30 minutes before each showing.
Free books will be available to children in attendance at the movie showings of “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who” on Wednesday, June 21, and
Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” on Thursday, July 13, on a first-come, first-served basis. The showing of “The Devil Wears Prada” on Thursday, July 27, is co-sponsored by the Women’s Forum employee resource group.
