Are you looking to dive into the world of work experience while keeping your academic journey on track? The On-Campus Student Employment Fair is the perfect opportunity for you to explore job openings, connect with department supervisors, and discover opportunities with Elon's federal work-study Community Partners.
Twenty six diverse departments and community partners will be in Moseley Center’s McKinnon Hall, eager to meet Elon undergraduate students on Thursday, Aug. 24 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
From academics to administration, arts to athletics, this fair covers the entire spectrum. Whether you’re interested in lending your creativity to a campus publication, supporting the tech infrastructure or working closely with community partners to make a real impact, this event has it all.
The fair isn’t just about handing out resumes. The fair is about forging connections, learning about various roles and understanding how different departments contribute to the thriving Elon community. You’ll have the opportunity to interact directly with department supervisors, ask questions, and gain insights into the roles they have available.
“On-campus jobs are designed with students’ academic commitments in mind. You can earn money, gain work experience, and still have the time you need to excel in your classes and pursue other extracurricular interests,” said Kameryn Taylor, assistant director of career services for student employment and first-year students.
Landing an on-campus job early in the semester means you’re setting the pace for your entire academic year. By getting started sooner, you’ll have a sense of stability and a stronger connection to the Elon community.
Students interested in attending can stop by the Student Professional Development Center in Moseley Center 140 during drop-ins 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday to have their resumes reviewed and printed on high-quality resume paper.
Remember, it’s not just about finding a job – it’s about discovering a pathway towards your dreams.
A complete list of employers and the jobs they hope to fill can be found on the Elon Job Network (EJN)
