Leader roles within Elon Volunteers! are a great way to grow in leadership skills and make a positive impact in the local community. Students in these roles are asked to facilitate ongoing experiences for their peers and work in tandem with other student leaders and pro-staff advisors.

Elon Volunteers! Membership
Member roles are a semester by semester opportunity within Elon Volunteers! and a great way to get more involved and to make a positive impact in our local community. Member roles are opt-in and do not require an interview. For anyone who indicates interest in being a member we ask you do the following:
- Attend member on-boarding training
- Volunteer at least 3 times throughout the semester
- Attend at least 1 Institute for Civic Engagement
Benefits of being a member include:
- Meet other students who are interested in getting involved
- Get connected with an Elon Volunteers! leader peer mentor
- Gain new skills that can set you up to hold a future leadership position
- Get to know more about the local community and organizations that are making make an impact
- Elon Volunteers! swag bag at the end of the semester once you complete membership requirements
Special Olympics Spring Games Committee
Special Olympics is looking for interested students who can help play an important role in planning this year’s spring games, which will be held in early April. Students on the committee will help plan the event with our coordinators, and then play an important role on the day of the event.
