Many of the top students in Elon Law’s Class of 2023 were celebrated in a November 13 evening event that applauded leadership and service in a variety of organizations and signature programs.
Students in Elon Law’s Class of 2023 were recognized at a reception that lauded their contributions to premiere programs and resources that reflect the School of Law’s commitment to experiential learning and inclusive excellence.
The ceremony on November 13, 2023, in the Cemala Foundation Commons was attended by family and friends of several honorees. Individual honors will be announced at an awards program in December on the evening before Commencement.
Moot Court Board
Members of Elon Law’s Moot Court Board made significant contributions to the growth and success of the program when they competed in moot court competitions across the country, hosting Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competitions at Elon Law, and coordinating the school’s intramural moot court competition.

Trial Advocacy Board
Elon Law’s Trial Advocacy Board, commonly referred to as the Mock Trial Competition Team, was created in 2010 and members compete in regional and national civil and criminal trial team competitions with other law schools. Competitions provide opportunities for Elon Law students to develop and practice trial advocacy skills before distinguished members of the bar and bench.

Student Diversity Fellows
The Student Diversity Fellows program was established in 2022 to proactively advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at Elon Law. The National Order of Scribes
The National Order of Scribes was created in 2007 by Scribes: The American Society of Legal Writers as an honorary organization to recognize graduating law students who excel in legal writing. Law schools that are current institutional members of Scribes each year may nominate five students, or up to a number that represents three percent of its graduating class for an academic year, whichever is larger, for induction.
