Haya Ajjan, associate dean of the Martha & Spencer Love School of Business and Gordon Professor of Entrepreneurship, was recently featured in a webinar focused on the expanding capabilities of generative AI systems such as ChatGPT.
Titled “What Happens to Learning When Generative AI Can See, Hear, and Speak,” the hour-long webinar by Ajjan, who is a co-leader of the generative AI implementation team at Elon, was offered by Harvard Business Publishing as part of its educational offerings.
In the webinar, Ajjan explored the transformative potential of multi-modal ChatGPT. Ajjan’s insights had a particular focus on helping educators customize learning paths for diverse student needs, augment classroom discussions with real-time data and research, and provide personalized feedback to students. The webinar centered on how ChatGPT can serve as a valuable assistant for students and help them grasp challenging concepts while ensuring a seamless learning experience inside and outside the classroom.
“The purpose of this webinar is to highlight how we as professors can use this technology to prepare our students for the professions of tomorrow, or maybe we should say today because of how rapidly things are changing,” Ajjan said.
