Clinical psychologists at Elon and similar institutions consider needs for the pre-mental health curriculum through survey research.

Lisa Buchanan, associate professor of education, has coedited "Religion, the First Amendment, and Public Schools: Stories from K-12 and Teacher Education Classrooms," published by Information Age Publishing.

Elon University will hold the first Women of Elon Weekend from March 14-15, 2024. The conference focuses on personal and professional development and will feature keynote speaker Jackie Joyner-Kersee, named the Greatest Female Athlete of the 20th Century by Sports Illustrated magazine.

Elon Law students pitched the idea of a mobile law clinic that could assist residents of underserved communities as part of a contest held this fall to support the Innovation Lab at Legal Aid of North Carolina.

Currently dean of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville's College of Liberal Arts & Education, Kelly will join Elon on June 1, 2024.
