Over 100 students attended events to learn about Study USA opportunities in Charlotte, Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington, DC.
The National Campus and Study USA teams were busy meeting students last week at a variety of events to showcase all the unique Study USA programs and their professional, academic and social benefits to students.
Assistant Director of Elon Charlotte Karen Neff, Director of Elon Los Angeles Brad Lemack, Global Experiential Learning Coordinator Skylar Smith and Director of National Campus Programs Ashley Pinney met with over 100 students at three events.
The Charlotte Meet and Greet brought Assistant Professor Khirey Walker and students who were also part of the inaugural fall 2023 cohort together to talk to future and interested students in the Elon in Charlotte program about their experience. Associate Professor Ryan Kirk, who is teaching the upcoming summer course Urban Design in Charlotte, was also in attendance to talk to students interested in participating in the summer program. Neff talked to students about Elon’s location in the fun South End neighborhood, internships and the diverse enrichment activities students will take part in.
The teams attended the Ultimate Career Fair hosted by the Student Professional Development Center where they spoke to students from all different majors and interests. The Study USA programs offer something for all students.
Lastly, former students of Brad Lemack attended the Los Angeles Meet and Greet to say hello to their former professor and congratulate him on his new role. Before becoming the new director, Lemack taught with Elon in LA for 15 years. Students interested in learning more about the Los Angeles programs met with Lemack and had their questions answered.
Applications for summer and fall programs in Charlotte, Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington, D.C., are closing soon on March 15. Space is limited so interested students should apply as soon as possible.
