Elon celebrates faculty and staff giving

During the 2023-24 fiscal year, faculty and staff gave more than $380,000 to support Elon students

The Elon University community gathered for a reception in Snow Family Grand Atrium on Thursday, May 9, to celebrate the collective philanthropy of Elon’s faculty and staff with food, friends and fellowship. More than 930 Elon employees have made a gift to be counted as donors during the current fiscal year, which ends May 31, leading to an overall faculty/staff giving rate of 60 percent. Together, their gifts total more than $380,000 in financial support for designations across campus.

“Your philanthropic donation to Elon makes a difference, said President Connie Ledoux Book during the event. “It creates opportunity, opens doors, and allows students to find their sense of purpose.”
