Associate Professor of Chemistry Vickie Moore and one of her former research students, Seth McKee '21 published a scientific article from McKee's Honors Thesis.
Vickie Moore, associate professor of chemistry, and Seth McKee ’21 had their paper “Examining FOLFIRINOX Resistance in Pancreatic Cancer through the Creation of Resistant Cell Culture Models” accepted for publication in the Journal of Student Research this week.
The data in the paper are the culmination of McKee’s Honors Thesis and Lumen Project research. McKee is currently a 2nd year medical student at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
