CATL introduces new video series: Good Trouble Inclusive Pedagogy

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) is excited to introduce an innovative video series, Good Trouble: Inclusive Pedagogy, that is set to revolutionize traditional approaches to undergraduate education. This series uniquely emphasizes the significance of justice, equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging (JEDI-B) in creating inclusive learning spaces. Season One is a treasure trove of actionable strategies for university educators, offering innovative ways to foster more equitable and welcoming environments.

Good Trouble: Inclusive Pedagogy is not just another discussion on education reform. Through dynamic conversations, expert insights and practical examples, the series offers solutions that amplify underrepresented student voices. The title pays homage to the late Congressman John Lewis, who famously encouraged people to get into “good trouble, necessary trouble” in the fight for justice. This series carries that torch into higher education by pushing the boundaries of traditional pedagogy and inspiring educators to advocate for equitable learning environments. It’s a call to action that will inspire change.
