Last week for Early Voting in North Carolina

During the period of early voting in North Carolina, eligible voters can register to vote and cast their ballot in the same visit. One of the five early voting sites in Alamance County is located on Elon’s campus in South Gym. For details about the process, visit the ElonVotes! website. The early voting period will extend now through November 2 – for dates and times, visit the Alamance County Board of Elections website.

Prepare for Course Registration Next Week
Course Registration begins Nov. 4
You can find the full registration schedule for details about your registration day on the Registration website. Here are the 7 steps for course registration:
- Review Registration Time: Go into the Schedule view in OnTrack and add the upcoming semester. A blue box will appear, including your registration date/time. This box disappears after your registration date/time begins.
- Evaluate Your Graduation Plan: Verify that you have taken the correct prerequisites for the classes you plan to take. Review your progress toward verifying that you have taken the correct prerequisites for classes that you have planned. Review your progress for the Elon Core Curriculum, major/minor requirements and general graduation requirements.
- Check Course Availability: Review whether the courses you have planned are offered and whether there are any conflicts with preferred courses.
- Meet with Your Adviser: work with your academic advisor at least 1-2 weeks in advance of your registration date for registration advising. Your adviser’s info can be found under the Advising tab on OnTrack or MyProgress.
- Check Email for Adviser Approval: You will receive an email confirmation once your adviser has approved your registration for classes.
- Register for Classes: Set alarms/alerts so you are not late registering for classes.
- Review MyProgress: Students often miss this step and don’t double-check that the classes they registered for fit into the place they expected in MyProgress. Always double-check immediately, giving you ample time for schedule adjustments if needed.
