Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley offers this weekly message to help students stay informed and prepare for the week ahead.
It’s the fall semester final exam week and here are the Phoenix Five tips for the week ahead:
Focus on well-being during final exams
As we move into exam week, it’s important to maintain the healthy behaviors that contribute to overall well-being – enjoying physical activity, staying hydrated, getting plenty of sleep, eating well and taking a break from social media. There are many resources that you can take advantage of, including TimelyCare (free to all Elon students), which is available to you 24/7 to talk to a mental health professional on-demand, access health coaching and digital self-care resources, and schedule virtual medical care or counseling. And don’t forget about the HealthEU website, which is filled with resources that you can sort by any of the six wellness dimensions.
Exam Survival Kits
Belk Library is providing “exam survival kits” available for pick-up on Monday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. Stop by and receive a kit of everything you need for a successful study session including notecards, a whiteboard marker, snacks, and study tips and strategies.
Tectonic Plates: Alamance County’s Science Café
