The student-run news organization was recognized at the North Carolina College Media Association’s annual conference held Feb. 22 at Appalachian State University.

Elon News Network won multiple Best of Show awards on Feb. 22 from the North Carolina College Media Association. More than a dozen students were honored in the individual categories as well.
In addition to Elon News Network’s accolades, Phi Psi Cli yearbook and Colonnades Literary & Art Journal also captured Best of Show honors.
The awards were presented at the association’s conference for college media students and advisers held at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.
The awards contest included hundreds of entries from more than 20 college media outlets from across the state. Below is a list of the Elon winners.

Elon News Network is a student-run news organization covering Elon University and the broader Alamance County community. It includes The Pendulum newspaper, “ENN Tonight” broadcast, elonnewsnetwork.com website, as well as social media accounts, podcasts and newsletters. Elon students can join ENN regardless of their experience level, major or year in school.
