Phoenix Five: Sunday look at the week ahead April 13-19

Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley offers this weekly message to help students stay informed and prepare for the week ahead.

Course registration for the Fall 2025 term begins Tuesday, April 15 – hopefully you’ve already been working your way through your registration “to do” checklist.

This week also marks the Jewish holiday of Passover and it is Holy Week for Christians, leading up to Easter Sunday. Check out the Truitt Center website for more information about religious holidays and traditions, as well as celebrations here at Elon.

Annual Phoenix Baseball Tailgate

Tuesday, April 15, 4 p.m., Rhodes Stadium Sidewalk at the Bell Tower

Elon Phoenix vs. UNCG Spartans, 6 p.m., Latham Park

Join the Annual Student Baseball Tailgate presented by Student Involvement in partnership with Athletics, One Phoenix, SUB and Phoenix Phanatics. Gratitude, Dialogue, and Storytelling with Interfaith Photovoice

Join the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life for Gratitude, Dialogue, and Storytelling with special guest Roman Williams, founder of Interfaith Photovoice. During this gathering, participants will be invited to share stories of gratitude using the photos on their phone, explore what thankfulness looks like in their own lives, and reflect on the experiences and perspectives of others. The Haha – Live at the Oak House
