One of the benefits you receive as a resident of The Oaks is that your mail box will be located nearby in The Oaks commons building. This means you will no longer need a mail box in Moseley. You can find your new box number on your OnTrack account. In order to help with the transition, listed below is information that you will find helpful. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact Chuck Sparks, mail services supervisor, at 278-5433 or sparksc@elon.edu.
- All students assigned to The Oaks will receive a campus box located in The Oaks commons building.
- Any student breaking their lease and moving from The Oaks apartments during the semester, will continue receiving mail at The Oaks until their box is changed to a Moseley mail box at the beginning of the new semester.
- Delivery to The Oaks will be finished by 2 pm Monday through Friday and noon on Saturday. This includes Express Mail and Overnight Mail.
- Packages will continue to be handled at the Mail Center in Moseley. If you receive a package slip in your Oaks mail box, just bring the slip and proper ID to the Mail Center in Moseley for package pick up. Mail Services hours of operation are posted on the web at http://org.elon.edu/mail/.
- Just like Moseley mail boxes, Oaks mail boxes can receive any necessary maintenance. All maintenance on campus boxes is done by appointment basis only. To obtain an appointment for help with your box please contact the Mail Center by phone at ext. 5433 or by e-mail at www.maillist@elon.edu.
- Please remember The Oaks is a delivery site only. There will be no mail center staff assigned to this site.
We look forward to seeing you this fall and hope you are enjoying your summer!
