ELON COLLEGE – Linda Weavil, professor of business administration at Elon College, has been selected for inclusion in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, 2000.”
Weavil was nominated by Bethany Carter, a student at the college. Only high school and college students, who have been cited for academic excellence in “Who’s Who Among American High School Students” and “The National Dean’s List”, are invited to nominate one teacher from their entire academic experience.
Weavil, who lives in the town of Elon College, has been teaching at the college since 1973. She has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from East Carolina University and a doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
