ELON COLLEGE – Adam Werbach, former president of the Sierra Club, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 29 in McCrary Theatre in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts.
The speech is free and open to the public.
Werbach, who was the college’s commencement speaker last year, will talk about efforts to get more people involved in conservation. Although he stepped down as Sierra president in 1998 after two years, he remains committed to conservation issues. He currently is working on film projects.
