ELON COLLEGE – The Piedmont Triad Partnership, a non-profit organization representing a 12-county region, will meet Thursday, April 1 in Moseley Center on the Elon College campus.
The meeting features presentations by economic developers from the counties in the Triad. FedEx will make a presentation at 3:40 p.m. about its plans to open a Mid-Atlantic Hub at Piedmont Triad International Airport. The $300 million hub, which will open in 2003, is expected to create up to 1,500 jobs.
The Piedmont Triad Partnership provides assistance to companies considering relocation or expansion. It also provides information on available sites and buildings, as well as coordinates the assistance of the region’s economic developers.
