Elon team receives grant to participate in summer education academy

A team of faculty, staff and students from Elon University has received a $6,000 grant from the American Association for Higher Education (AAHE) to participate in “Organized for Learning,” a summer academy scheduled for July 17-21 in Mt. Snow, Vt.

The Elon team will focus on planning work for the development of the university’s Center for Creativity in Learning and Teaching. The team will explore ways to incorporate both faculty and student feedback in the center, which will promote innovative and engaging approaches to teaching. They will also discuss strategies for integrating Project Interweave, an Elon initiative which is part of the university’s participation in the Carnegie Foundation’s Scholarship of Teaching and Learning program, into the center.
