The United States Air Force American Clarinet Quartet will perform at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 21 in Whitley Auditorium on the Elon University campus. Sponsored by the Times-News and Elon University, the performance is free and open to the public. Free tickets can be picked up at Elon’s box office or at the Times-News, 707 S. Main Street in Burlington, beginning Jan. 1.
The American Clarinet Quartet features a blend of music spanning more than 350 years. Their repertoire ranges from light classical to swing and from popular to patriotic. The quartet is the most recent addition to the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band, a 60-member band based at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.
