NC SPIN program to tape show at Elon October 13

NC SPIN, a weekly television program devoted to discussion of political, educational, tax and transportation issues of interest to North Carolinians, will hold a live taping at Elon University’s Whitley Auditorium at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13. After the taping, NC SPIN host Tom Campbell will moderate a discussion between the panelists and the audience. The event, which is free and open to the public, is co-sponsored by the School of Communications and the Political Science department.

Campbell leads the panel of noted Tar Heel journalists in a discussion of current political issues. NC SPIN, the state’s only independent, commercially sponsored public affairs program is watched closely by business, industry and government leaders across North Carolina.

In the Triangle, NC SPIN airs Sundays at 6:30 a.m. on WRAL-TV. In the Triad, the show airs Sundays at 7:30 a.m on WXII.
