The Elon University Department of Performing Arts will present “Jane Eyre: A Musical Drama,” Thursday, Feb. 10-Sunday, Feb. 13 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts on campus.
Nominated for five Tony Awards, the musical is based on Charlotte Brontë’s 19th century saga of a plain but irrepressible governess and her intriguing employer, Edward Rochester. Linda Sabo is the choreographer and director for this production, with musical direction provided by Kenneth Lee.
Show times for the production are 7:30 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $12 or free for those with valid Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open 12:30-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
