Former Elon University faculty member and guitarist Carey Harwood will perform various guitar works during a program at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28 in Whitley Auditorium on the Elon campus. Sponsored by the Department of Music, this event is free and open to the public.
Harwood earned a bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is presently a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Colorado. He has performed with Triad Guitar Quartet, Greensboro Opera Company, Greensboro Symphony, and the Central City Opera.
