Brad Cohen, a second grade teacher with Tourette Syndrome, will present “The Difference You Make” at 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 27 in Whitley Auditorium on the Elon campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Cohen came from the depths of abuse and was determined to rise above it to become an inspiration to others. His book, “Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had,” focuses on having a positive attitude and how all it takes is for one person to believe in a child in order for them to be successful.
