Sinclair to discuss rebuilding efforts after natural disasters, April 20

Cameron Sinclair, executive director of Architecture for Humanity, will discuss his organization’s approach to rebuilding in the wake of natural disasters during a presentation at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 20 in Yeager Recital Hall, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus. Sinclair’s presentation is free and open to the public.

Founded in 1999, Architecture for Humanity is an international non-profit organization which promotes architectural and design solutions to global, social and humanitarian crises. The group is currently providing design services and funding for reconstruction in India and Sri Lanka following the devastating tsunami that struck South-East Asia in December 2004 as well as on the Gulf Coast of the United States after Hurricane Katrina.
