The North Carolina Symphony will make its annual visit to campus for the traditional holiday pops concert at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9 in Koury Center. William Henry Curry, resident conductor, will lead the symphony in a festive concert featuring favorite carols and a sing-along.
Tickets for the concert are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors or free for those with valid Elon identification. Tickets are available at the McCrary Theatre box office by calling (336) 278-5650. The box office is open from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
The North Carolina Symphony is a professional, full-time orchestra with 65 members. Based in Raleigh, the orchestra has an extensive education program, with more than 50 of its 170 annual concerts given free to schoolchildren. The orchestra has appeared at Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington and Orchestra Hall in Chicago.
