The 11th annual Black Excellence Awards banquet will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, April 26 in Koury Center. More than 350 people are expected to attend the event, which recognizes the academic achievements of more than 100 students. Top awards include recognition of students with the highest GPA in each class, student-athletes with the highest GPA, and individual class honors.
Garrie Moore, associate provost and vice chancellor at East Carolina University, will deliver the keynote address.
