Two upcoming events sponsored by the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life will feature storytellers from three diverse faiths, and a panel discussion about these faiths and their future.
At 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 1, storytellers from the Jewish, Muslim and Christian faiths will share stories from their traditions. They will focus on common bonds of family and faith. A second program, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 8 in Whitley, will include a panel discussion, moderated by Professor Emeritus John Sullivan. The discussion will feature a professor of Middle Eastern history and clergy members from the three faiths, talking about the past, present and future of this “family of faiths.”
Both events are free and open to the public, and the campus community is encouraged to attend.
