Dwayne Waite, President of the Elon Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), has been elected to the PRSSA National Committee as Vice President of Professional Development. Elections were held March 24 at the PRSSA National Assembly in Nashville, TN.
As Vice President of Professional Development, Waite has the responsibility to contribute to the operational procedures, strategies and performance of the National Committee such as promoting and managing programs that facilitate PRSSA/PRSA relations, the growth and development of student-run firms, and updating and management of the PRSSA blog.
Waite officially takes office on the National Committee June 1.
