This past week Greg Haenel gave two presentations at the Joint Meetings of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists held July 11-16 in St. Louis, MO. The presentations were titled “Phylogeography of Tree lizards and causes of population structure in a broadly distributed lizard” and “Unidirectional exchange of mtDNA between Common Tree lizards and Long-tailed brush lizards.” During the meetings he was also elected to be an associate editor for the journal Copeia and to serve on the Board of Governors of the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists.
