Larry Higgins, a part-time security officer for Elon Campus Safety & Police, died Sept. 8. Higgins performed security duties at Rhodes Stadium and was also a dispatcher for the Mebane, N.C., police department.
The family of Larry Higgins will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Lowe Funeral Home, 2205 S. Church Street, Burlington. The funeral service will be held at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Thursday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m.
