Elon will host the North Carolina chapter of the American Association of Teachers of German (NC-AATG) for its fall chapter meeting and conference. The event takes place Friday evening and all day Saturday, Oct. 19-20.
NC-AATG is composed of K-12 and college/university German instructors from across the state.
The chapter will debate the role of literary studies in the German classroom, hear from the German consul general, discuss teaching strategies and ideas, and consider the Oscar-winning film “The Lives of Others” (Das Leben der Anderen).
