David NoerDavid Noer, the Frank S. Holt Jr. Professor of Business Leadership at Elon, had his monthly column published Nov. 4, 2007, in the (Greensboro, N.C.) News & Record. The column, “Top 10 wrong reasons not to vote Tuesday,” was designed to encourage young people to visit the polls on Election Day.
“…Voting is a democratic privilege and an obligation of responsible citizenship,” Noer writes. “We should vote because we want to, not because we have to. We should vote because we want to make Greensboro a better place for our children.”
