David Noer, Frank S. Holt Jr. Professor of Business Leadership, will serve as an expert commentator for a film produced by The Federal Judicial Center. The film will focus on downsizing in the federal court system. Noer will provide context, theory and perspective to first-person stories told by employees experiencing the effects of layoffs and downsizing.
The Federal Judicial Center is the educational and research agency for the federal courts. Last year, the center provided 685 educational programs for 27,000 federal judge and court staff participants.
Noer will record his portion of the film on Sept. 3 in Washington, D.C.
