Joseph Meredith, 39, who served as a faculty member in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business from 2002 to 2007, died Feb. 8 after a battle with lupus. Meredith was an assistant professor of finance at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas. He was the son of civil rights pioneer James Meredith.
