Elon Athletics will host its annual Phoenix Football Media Day on Tuesday, Aug. 19, in the Woods Center lobby in Rhodes Stadium.
Open to the public, the event begins at 2:30 p.m. with the annual preseason press conference. Coach Al Seagraves and players Zak DeBusk, Mark Jetton, Brandon Mason, Stephen McCoy, Rashaud Palmer and Calvin Sutton will discuss the upcoming 2003 season, the program’s first campaign in the prestigious Southern Conference.
Immediately following, the afternoon practice starts at 3:30 p.m. at the nearby Hunt Field and Tucker Field practice facility, and will feature a scrimmage.
