Strempek to offer entrepreneur’s course Sept. 9

Barth Strempek, associate professor of business administration, will offer a course through the Triad Entrepreneurial Initiative titled “Is This a Good Idea? Tell Me What to do Next.” The course will be offered from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 9 in Ward Octagon, located in Moseley Center on the Elon University campus.

Strempek will teach the course with Jeffrey LeRose, president of Research Triangle Software, Inc. Students will receive honest feedback on their business ideas and learn how to identify the market and potential profitability of their idea. Students will learn how to write a business concept they can implement and identify potential competitors.

The Triad Entrepreneurial Initiative was founded in 2001 to support the creation of high-growth companies in the Piedmont Triad.
