The Elon University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa recently met the requirements for the Circle of Distinction Award. Only 15 of the 288 ODK circles nationwide received the honor for the 2002-2003 academic year.

ODK circles must meet specific criteria to receive the award, and pass a final review by the national body’s executive director.

Omicron Delta Kappa recognizes students, faculty, alumni and outstanding citizens for exemplary character, service and leadership in campus life, and good citizenship within the academic and larger community.

Elon’s ODK leadership team include senior Greg Halstead, chapter president, and faculty advisers Rex Waters, assistant dean of students, and Sandra Seidel, associate professor of biology.
