Elon Web site manager David Morton, Web applications developer John David Parsons and assistant vice president Dan Anderson presented a session on E2 at the spring conference of CNAC, the College News Association of the Carolinas, March 2-4. The conference drew about 80 higher education communications professionals from institutions in North and South Carolina. E2 is Elon’s online social network developed by the University Relations department and launched in 2007. The award-winning system currently has about 6,800 members and has been praised as a tool for universities to build stronger community relations among alumni, parents, students and faculty. E2 was developed by Morton, Parsons, Anderson and graphic designer Christopher Eyl.
