Elon alumnus earns praise from Conde Nast & Modern Bride

David Beahm, a music major at Elon who graduated in 1983 and a current member of the National Alumni Executive Board, will receive the award on May 13 in New York City along with fellow honorees who include Oscar de la Renta, Bobbi Brown, and Michael Bloomberg.

Beahm’s event design business in New York City has earned him praise from the likes of People, The New York Times, Town & Country and Elle Décor. He was the designer behind Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones’ wedding.
