Bob Anderson analyzes McCain’s VP pick for media

Robert “Bob” Anderson, an associate professor of political science, offered expert analysis for Fox 8 WGHP (High Point, N.C.) and News 14 Carolina on Aug. 29, 2008, after presumptive Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain announced his running mate.

Fox 8 filmed Anderson as he watched the formal announcement on television. He then answered a series of questions about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and what her selection may mean for the McCain campaign.

Anderson also offered his observations for News 14 Carolina morning anchor Tracey Early. In a preview of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., Anderson answered questions about what goals the GOP may have for its gathering.
