Approximately 30 Elon students took part in “Learning is Fun” day at the Boys and Girls Club in Burlington on Friday, Sept. 26. More than 75 children took part in the event, which emphasized how learning and fun can go together. The younger students played math bingo, had a chance to read their favorite books in a reading corner, and much more.
The Elon students held two fundraising car washes to purchase school supplies for the students, as well as other gifts. Funds were also used to buy supplies for the event.
