Robert Pavlik, associate professor of finance in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, appeared on a live News14 Carolina statewide broadcast Sept. 24. He reacted to President George W. Bush's address to the nation on the financial crisis.
Pavlik discussed the importance of a federal plan to keep major financial institutions from failing. He also talked about the serious consequences for the U.S. economy and individual citizens if the Wall Street crisis is not addressed.
